# C8: FAQ/Troubleshooting

### I want to add more mods, do I need to redo the entire guide?

* No need, just create a new **mod.cpk** ([Chapter 2](https://theroyalproject.gitbook.io/installation-guide-emulator/c2-building-the-mod.cpk)) and move it to the USRDIR folder. Be sure to always make sure your mod priorities are correct in Aemulus!

### Are there any mods that are incompatible with The Royal Project?

* **Yes**, you can find a list of incompatible mods [here](https://app.gitbook.com/s/jVfFxH4ELh8EuPzzgQ2k/).

### The patches for TRP (or another other mod) got updated, what do I have to do?

* Either replace the old patches from your **patch.yml** ([Chapter 3](https://theroyalproject.gitbook.io/installation-guide-emulator/c3-creating-the-patch.yml)) or create a new one with the new patches (recommended). Then make sure that the patches are enabled in RPCS3.

### My game softlocks during the intro, why?

* You probably messed something up when creating the **mod.cpk** ([Chapter 2](https://theroyalproject.gitbook.io/installation-guide-emulator/c2-building-the-mod.cpk)), maybe doubled up a folder or something similar. Go back and check to make sure.
