# C0: Introduction

### Welcome to the P5EX + TRP Installation Guide for emulator users!

This guide ONLY applies to **RPCS3**, you can find the installation guide for hardware [here](https://app.gitbook.com/o/wf0BcZulOwSZqoEYyIEz/s/GoHg6F5JKG5QaZJ7PfHd/). Regardless of where you plan on modding the game, either PC or real hardware, the process remains largely the same. But some particular things like the placement of files, file patching and stuff like that, differs between both platforms.

Before we get started, I'll assume you already have:

* A computer.
* RPCS3. (This guide will **not** go over how to setup RPCS3)
* An **unmodified** digital or physical copy of Persona 5, the PS3 version. You'll know your game is modified if there are duplicate/numbered CPK files in your USRDIR folder, or the PPU hash of your game doesn't match the game serial. (The FitGirl repack, for example, is known to cause issues)
